The wall to wall
At this time, the plaster becomes the main element, covering the walls with it, that adheres to it to transform and transmute. It now becomes a new space, leaving the marks of history recorded in the cast as a mute witness of the passage of time. These casts, once dried, with the wall fragments in tow, are painted and come to occupy a new space within a canvas beginning a new life.
The project was born outside of the city, with the purpose of being taken inside. The pieces in this series are the scars and traces of old walls, which through painting, forgotten memories of the physical city are recovered and reinterpreted.
The project arises from the observation of cities, the interest in their evolution and constant change, through which their systems of authenticity are valued and highlighted.
